NORTH PORT, Fla. (AP) — The Atlanta Braves signed veteran right-hander Jesse Chavez to a minor league contract on Monday, offering the chance for the reliever’s fifth stint with the crew.

Chavez, 40, was launched by the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. His cope with Atlanta contains an invite to spring coaching, giving the Braves 29 gamers in camp.
